About Steel Daisies

Steel Daisies is a mental movement inspired by the legacy of my Grandmere', the late Daisy C. Hill. Steel is an incredibly strong and versatile material. Daisies are regarding a symbol of hope and new beginnings. My Grandmere' was the strongest person I have ever met or will ever meet and the love, empathy, and kindness she showed me throughout my entire life as I was living with depression blessed me with new hope and new beginnings several times over. It is with this spirit I approach the continued need for safe, empathetic, and resilient spaces for people to come together in the name of maintaining their mental health. I believe in building community just as much as I believe in building up ourselves - the two compliment each other so nicely.
